Arrange & Fill

Using the patented Arrange & Fill method, we also produce 1-3 composites using piezo ceramic fibers as active rods. PZT fiber composites are a cost effective alternative to the Dice & Fill method.

We manufacture 1-3 composites using the standard Dice & Fill method, which is the current industry standard for frequencies above 500kHz.

Macro Fiber Composites

Macro Fiber Composite (MFC) is the leading low profile actuator and sensor offering high performance, flexibility and reliability in a cost competitive device. The MFC was invented by NASA and has been commercialized worldwide and continuously improved by Smart Material as a NASA licensed manufacturer and distributor since 2002.
